There are plenty of bargains going around this week in Dream Team land and with a lot of the 'Cash Cows' we bought early in the season at there peak or almost there it might be time for an upgrade or two? Players such as Joel Selwood, Alwyn Davey, Hadley, Nathan Ablett to name just a few are ready to be shipped out and upgraded for some Top shelf Dream Teamers who are going at more than reasonable prices here's a few:
Heath Shaw received a corky in the early minutes last week and is a test this week if he comes up look at grabbing him before round 13. As he will be hanging on to the 9 points game until then. This should drop him to the 230-240k mark, making him way under value and a must have recruit.
Lenny Hayes even after his 106 on the weekend Lenny is Still a great buy at $328,400 down $79,00 from his original asking price. After spending most of this season being eased back from injuries Lenny has found him self only playing more than 80% game time once this season so look for him to start pumping out the big 100's as his fitness reaches his peak and his TOG increases.
Daniel Kerr another gun midfielder going cheap at the moment. If you want Kerr grab him this week or next as he will drop the 35 he scored in round 5 this week and his price tag of $296,200 will be a distant memory as he is a good thing to rediscover his early season form after a 2 week break through suspension.

Form drops ready to bounce back
Most of things guys have had an injury of some discription or maybe just a bit of poor these such players could be very handy additions to your Dream Team at a disounted price:
Lenny Hayes (StK): Down $71,000 at could drop more after this week unless he puts a big score together Hayes would be a great buy with a price tag that can only go one way. And that is of course up.
Ben Johnson (Coll): Johnson has dropped a massive $82,100 and sits at the juicey price of $287,200 so gobble him up now before he gets back to the $330,000 mark that he is worth.
Troy Simmonds (Rich): After being injured in the early minutes of his round 6 clash he has a 7 as his most recent score this will be included in his price average for the next to weeks which will drop him even further to around the $260,000 mark $110,000 less than his origonal asking price after a stellar 2006.

Mitch Morton (W.C): As far as centres go Morton would have to be the biggest bubble about to burst when it comes to quick cash injections at $117,800 he averages a handy 71 from his 2 matches. Of course one more match and his price will rocket and if he can just put together another 70 he should shoot straight to 150k and it's only onwards and upwards from there.
Clint Bizzle (Melb): After a very patchy couple of years with injuries resulting in his bargin Dream Team price Clint will hopefully be able to put some good footy together this year. With scores of 42 and 80 giving him a 61 average to date he would make a very handy reserve as he is likely to maintain his spot and level out at about a 60-65 average for the season. His price sits at $127,600 and will continue to rise up to the mid to low 200's.

Cash Cows Of the week
Cleve Hughes: Cleve played just 3 games last season with out having a major impact but did show signs that he had plenty of talent. In his 2 matches this season he has Dream Team scores of 72 against West Coast and 87 in the thumping dished out by the Cats. With an Average of 79.5 and a price tag of just $89,000 Hughes could provide a great cash injection as well as be a handy reserve for the season ahead. Especialy seeing as Richmond have written off the season and have adopted a youth policy.
Ricky Petterd: I won't say to much about Ricky as I spoke about him after his first up performance but if you are looking for a hand Centre that will make you some good dollars. Look no further averaging 86 and coming off a massive 101 last week his price will sky rocket so it's now or never if you intend to add hime to your Dream Team.

Round 5 AFL Dream Team Wrap
Here are a few player that could be worthy inclusions to your Dream team. I haven't bothered to discuss the obvious ones like Selwood and co. Because you either have them or know all about them anyway but here are some players that may have slipped under the radar just a little...
Richard Hadley has played 3 games so his price has already increased 30k however he is yet to even play 70% of any game as he is being eased back into things after his 2 knee reconstructions. Would surprise me if Hadley scores under 60pts in any game from here on end. He is a future star for the lions.
Ricky Petterd played his first game of AFL football on the weekend and definitely didn't go unnoticed. cracking the 100 point mark on debut which is a huge effort. Petterd was draft 2nd round at 30 overall by Melbourne in the 2006 draft from Broadbeach in the QAFL and could have been hire after he was unable to attend draft camp due to injury. Keep an out out for him this week because his price could shoot through the roof with another similar performance to last week.
Shannon Cox has not missed a beat in his first 3 games for Collingwood this year and is still a bargain buy at 123k especially if you are looking for a nice cheap forward that will make you some dollars. Cox had his best game in Round 5 notching up 82 points and has improved with each of his 3 outings. Another you talent at the pies who looks to have a bright future at the club.
Aaron Edwards along with couple of the other Kangaroos youngsters have gone along way towards helping the Kanga's regain the respect of the AFL community with there hard in and under brand of football. Edwards has been a solid contributor for the Kangas as well as Dream Team coaches who put faith in him from the get go. Could be a very useful pick up. Listed in the forwards with a price tag of just 135k the only way is up for this young Roo.

AFL Dream Team Round 3
Round 3 is over hopefully you have filled your team with any hot money making prospects that you may have missed initially. But don't fear if you have missed out. There at least a couple on the go at the moment and many more to pop up shortly.
Key Forward prospect:
Obviously look no further than Tom Hawkins he is looking like a must have after a blistering start to his career booting 7 goals in 2 games and amassing a more than healthy average for his price in doing so.
Key Centre prospect:
If you are looking for a cheap centre and already have the dream team gun of the year in Chris Knights, Sydney's Tim Schimdt looks like he may have the goods. He has racked up 30 possessions as well as 3 goals from his 2 games so far. with a an average points score of 63.5 and a price of just 98,200(Dream Team) he is sure to pick you up some big dollars and possibly handy points.
Key Back prospect:
First of all if you don't have Adcock take him now before his price rises up to the 300,000+ mark. But for those who did a little research and have had him since round 1 here are a couple more players to think about. Currently in the backs there are not any bargain basement buys going around. but many middle price range players that could turn into top shelf selections. So far this year we have had the inconsistency of Brennan(Bris) as well as Jacobs(Haw) both mixing 2 brilliant performances with 1 fairly average effort. You would expect them both to turn out to be pretty solid buys but whether they are long term pics only time will tell. They both finishing the first 3 weeks with a very healthy average for there price. But be ware Jared's poor Round 3 score will hinder his price rise for the next 3 weeks- as a players last 3 games average decide his price rise or fall so if you expect to make any more money out of him in the next 2 weeks think again.
A couple of more consistent performers are Nathan Bock(Adel) and Tadgh Kennelly of Sydney who have both have put in a super start to 2007. In the 3 games so far Bock averages 89 at $260,900 and Kennelly who looks to have taken the next step up to the elite level with the massive average of 96 at $271,600 look to be the best buys at this stage.
In the Next week we see Richard Hadley play his second game after a slow but safe start in his first game back after 2 Knee reco's. As long as he stays on the park he will finish the year some where around the $300, 000 mark. But have another look this week before his price goes anywhere before adding him.
